Enterprises that meet the requirements of key support projects for central air pollution prevention and control funds can apply to the county or district ecological environment department and submit relevant application materials. After preliminary review by the county and district ecological environment departments, and approval by the municipal and provincial ecological environment authorities, it will be submitted to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment for final review. The Central Ecological Environment Fund Project Management System is open throughout the year, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organizes a centralized review of project storage in April and September each year. After passing the review, the projects are included in the Central Project Reserve.

1. The application projects that have been successfully put into storage cannot be used for purchasing services, leasing venues and instruments after the funds are issued;

2. Enterprises with environmental credit ratings of red or black will not be reviewed.
