The main pollutants in the exhaust gas generated by the rubber mixing workshop are oil, dust, and odor. The composition of pollutants is complex, mainly including toluene, carbon disulfide, styrene, hydrogen sulfide, particulate matter, non methane total hydrocarbons, etc. Among them, the odor mainly comes from foul smelling substances such as carbon disulfide, styrene, hydrogen sulfide, and non methane total hydrocarbons.

Original treatment plan for mixing waste gas

Corresponding sealing and collection systems have been designed for different parts of the mixing machine, such as the feeding port, discharge port, extrusion, and film cooling. The effectively collected exhaust gas is concentrated in the environmental treatment facilities. The ozone oxidation method has high efficiency in treating volatile organic compounds (VOCs) gas, but the reaction time must be controlled well; If it cannot fully react, it will instead produce secondary pollution. The wet oxidation tower (spray) has sufficient reaction time for treating the waste gas from the mixing process, stable product properties, high deodorization efficiency, stable operation, and good treatment effect. In the original treatment plan for mixing waste gas, two processes are combined and the form of ozone oxidation+wet oxidation tower+dry oxidation tower is selected to treat the collected waste gas.
