Recently, the Ministry of Finance issued 11 notices in 14 days, intensive 2023 water pollution prevention, air pollution prevention and control, soil pollution prevention and control, urban pipe network and sewage treatment subsidies, rural environmental improvement and other related funds budget, a total of 247.582 billion yuan.
This includes 17 billion yuan for the prevention and control of water pollution, 21 billion yuan for the air, 4.62 billion yuan for the soil, 10.55 billion yuan for pipe networks, and 2 billion yuan for the improvement of the rural environment, as well as 1.125 billion yuan for this year's additional pilot project to control black and odorous water bodies in rural areas.
In addition to pollution prevention and control, the budget for ecological protection and restoration is larger, including 88.384 billion yuan in transfer payments for key ecological functional zones, 31.46 billion yuan in subsidies for agricultural resources and ecological protection, and 31 billion yuan for key ecological protection and restoration.
